Fresh & Flourishing
Two weeks ago I started recording music again. When I'm finished, I'm going to post an album on my music page. It will feature about 4 or 5 "new" songs... actually, most of them I've had around for years and years, just never recorded. .... And there are a couple that I either wanted to re-record or were recorded by others I co-wrote them with, but never covered myself.... I ike "He'll take care of the Rest", I wrote with Keith Green and some others I wrote with Mary Goetz. Two of the most gifted artists of our generation.
I'm really jazzed about the opportunity to get these "new" songs recorded. Especially because I'm working with guys from the Lakewood worship team. These guys are phenomenal. It's an honor to be working with them.
Once the project is complete I will be posting in on my music page where anyone can download it for free. If you think about it from time to time, I hope that you will mention the project to the Lord and ask Him to open the right doors and bless the music to get as wide a distribution as possible.
To me, all this is confirmation of His promise in Psalm 92:13 "Those who are planted in the house of the LordShall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing,"
My voice is a little rusty, but it's getting stronger. Been doing vocal exercises that I learned years ago, and they seem to be working. But I'll let you be the judge. The project should be finished and posted by the end of August.
